Cabin 4 Sale

Location:

This 16X20, 620 square foot cabin is located on Chinook Street, off mile 15.5 Funny River Rd. 

Airstrip:

The subdivision features it's own north/south airstrip which is located on the backside of our 1.3 acre property. You are able to land and taxi right to your own parking pad. (see pictures). It's only a 30 minute flight from Anchorage, compared to 3.5 hours drive! We are currently the only ones in our neighborhood using the strip. It needs on going maintenance as any strip needs. Landing is at your own risk and only for more experienced pilots. We land with our Cessna 170 with no trouble at all. There is however a neighboring strip that is shown in the picture. This strip may be used with permission of the other homeowners.

Kenai River Access / Browns Lake:

Only a 5 minute stroll brings you to the world famous Kenai River. The Holiday Park Subdivision features its own boat launch and River Access so you can fish for Reds and Silvers right from the shore. The boat launch even features its own filleting table.

Browns Lake is only a 5 minute drive away. Use the car and take along the canoe for some beautiful water play.

Cabin:

This little house is equiped with a 3 cabinet solid maple kitchen including amicrowave, fridge with topfreezer, electric stove and oven. The kitchen is fully equiped with modern supplies to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The living room features a sleeping sofa, an antique dresser with four drawers, a mosaic side table, a indonesian storage chest, a beautifull antique rocker chair, a mosaic wall hanging and an Ikea rug. The dining room has one table with four chairs. On the main floor there is also a seperate toilet, sink and a basic shower. Upstairs is one large room and has one double bed, one single and two cots to sleep on.

The cabin features electricity, a well and septic tank. The cabin has been painted on the outside only two years ago.  The cabin has no insulated plumbing and heating. We have not used the cabin in the winter and have drained the plumbing every fall. The inside is finished as a cabin with paneling. The ceilings are still partly unfinished. The floor is a high grade "oak like" plywood with a hardwood floor stain.

Property:

On the property there are a few other buildings.

1. A beautifull outhouse, recently painted and decorated.

2. Storage shed. A little old, but holds the bikes and some spare cabin materials

3. Equipment shed right behind the house where the pump, preasure tank and water heater is located.

4. Cool treehouse for the kids

Additional items to be included in the sale:

Canoe, '92 Geo Tracker, 2 mountain bikes, 1 kids bike trailer, spare materials for cabin in the shed, Kerosine heater and all furnishings in the cabin except for personal belongings.

The cabin is sold as is with no warranties. We have tried to describe the cabin to the best of our abilities. It is in great shape and has been very well maintained.
